The Perfect Blend
We have learned over the years through many studies that the benefits of strength training are endless; we burn more fat when we lift weights, we increase bone density & muscle mass (which gives us that "lean look" that everyone strives for).
Long story short, strength training should be the foundation of our exercise regime. However, it doesn't always have to be high impact resistance training; & that is where Pilates comes in. With the perfect blend of weight training, Pilates and metabolic conditioning, we can continue to keep our bodies strong, healthy & lean; while also enjoying our workouts, which is the most important part-- am I right?!
